We are reshaping our Lifestyle during Covid-19

The whole world is going through uneasiness and uncertainty because of Covid19. People are preferring to put on masks while coming out of their homes and wash their hands after going back home, as we all are facing this deadly and contagious virus that makes human beings more and more alert and attentive. But here is different perspective towards this pandemic where we all are developing certain good habit which leads to healthy lifestyle habits.



These habits are suddenly getting involved in our daily lives due to fright of this disease, all of our ancestors had consistently done that. Our ancestors have lived their lives doing all these things, which we are doing today, the only difference is that they had done these things happily and willingly and we are doing it either because of fear or forcefully. If we talk about our great-grandfather/mother, then obviously we will realize that they never grew up eating Pizza, Burgers, or any other junk food. This proves that these are not the things that are essential for the survival of the human species, so where are we running and why?


Often talking about any healthy habits, individuals all the time come up with the obvious answer, that they are following these things because either they are not ill or they don’t have time. But today people have started liking all these things and people have got plenty of time to do them. After all, what kind of changes comes in the lifestyle of people?


Nutritious Meals –“what is made at your home today?” the answer earlier would be probably Italian or Chinese or any other cuisine or gourmet of the world, and the reason is just simply because they love that food but now the situation is drastically changed, most of the population switching themselves from these food habits to ‘KHICHDI’, yeah seriously, it makes you little funny but it is true. Earlier they used to be upset because of not going out to eat, and they say that if they do not eat outside, then they feel depressed, and they feel irritated most of the time, now they are adapting to the new food habits.


Some are still in the same condition, but in most people, the taste of eating simple food has been developing. People have gradually overcome the habit of eating outside food.

Exercise regularly - People do not have time to exercise first, and even if they got time by mistake, then laziness overpowered them, but now due to the race of Survival of the fittest, we all get motivated. With this, they are putting a lot of emphasis on paying attention to their health. Keeping this in mind, some have included gym equipment, yoga, aerobics, or meditation in their daily routine to improve their health at home according to their budget and convenience.


Immunity boosters- Along with food and exercise, some of us have also become very cautious about increasing our immunity, in our homes. Earlier these things used to exist only when we fall ill or so, but it is the part of our daily routine, a decoction of neem, cardamom with basil, clove, black pepper, cinnamon, ginger. Many types of Ayurvedic decoctions are consumed by the people to boost their immunity.


Managing stress – We all often resort to social media platforms to relieve our stress after a hectic work schedule, but nowadays similar negative news is coming in from everywhere, due to pandemic, as it's hampering everyone’s lives. Now to overcome this, people have engaged themselves in creative activities like drawing, painting, singing etc. Along with this, most of the individuals have also taken the help of professionals to overcome this mental stress without hesitating.


Some are still not taking these lifestyle habits that much seriously, they are just waiting for the time when this situation of the pandemic will get over, But some are considering it the part of their journey, but I think we all should follow these habits not just because of any kind of alarming situations, try to enjoy these healthy habits. Here is something very important to mention, following a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean that you will never have any junk food in your entire life, yeah of course once in a while you can eat anything, that doesn’t harm you in any way.
