What does your handwriting reveal about your personality?

Today, I'm going to talk about the several handwriting elements that may be studied in a particular handwriting sample, and how they can reveal a lot about the writer's personality if they are carefully observed. The following are a few of these characteristics and their accompanying meanings in terms of describing one's personality traits:

Graphology is the study of handwriting for the purpose of personality analysis and personality development. Handwriting analysis allows a person to not only understand themselves, but also their relationships. Graphology is used to understand relationships and personality, allowing you to make informed decisions about your relationships, future, career, and more.

Words should be spaced evenly.

It can be determined by looking at the breadth of a single letter in handwriting. Looking at the small or large gap between the words is the simplest approach to judge a person.

If there is a lot of space between the words, the writer will usually avoid the crowd and prefer to spend time alone.

If there is a small gap between the words, the writer is likely to be invasive and to be enjoying himself in the throng.

Alignment

When writing samples are obtained on a blank sheet of paper, the alignment of the handwriting can be better judged. By comparing the handwritings to an artificial baseline, the alignment can be determined. Typically, three cases are discovered:

Upward alignment: When compared to the imaginary baseline, the handwriting in this situation is determined to be in the upward direction. It usually shows that the writer is upbeat; it can also be detected if the person is enthusiastic or cheerful when writing.

Downward alignment: When compared to the imaginary baseline, the handwriting in this situation is determined to be in the downward direction. It usually signifies pessimism; however it can also be observed if the writer was emotional or disturbed when writing.

Straight alignment: The writing is straight and relatively parallel to the imagined baseline in this situation. It usually denotes a writer who enjoys discipline or is well-organized.

Space between lines

The line spacing can be seen more clearly if the handwriting samples are taken on a blank (or unlined) sheet of paper. The following has been discovered:

People with wide spaced lines in their handwriting are more likely to be open-minded and to take a step back.

People with narrowly spaced lines in their handwriting are typically narrow-minded and used to reacting when they are near to the action.

Page margins

When evaluating a handwriting, the margins should not be overlooked because they can reveal a lot of information, such as:

The left margin points to the roots or family.

The right margin points to other persons in a person's life, both present and future.

The goals and ambitions are indicated at the top of the page.

A person's energy, practical attitude, and instincts are indicated at the bottom of the page.

In handwriting, a wide left margin suggests that the writer enjoys moving forward, whereas a tight one implies cautious conduct and the desire to avoid being pushed before the individual is ready to accomplish a work. In handwriting, a wide right margin reflects a writer's dread of the unknown, whereas a narrow one implies desire and impatience to get things done.

Pen pressure

Some people write with a lot of pressure, and these people are usually slow. Illiterates have been observed writing with a lot of pressure in numerous occasions. People that are very emotional also tend to write under a lot of stress.

Some people are accustomed to writing very softly, with a consistent thickness and rhythm. They are sensitive and used to having empathy for others.

Uneven pressure, on the other hand, suggests a lack of vigour.

Size and proportion of letters

It is a common practice to evaluate the mix and relative size of block and small letters. By comparing the sizes of the characters, particularly the middle case letters with the caps, size and proportion may be calculated, resulting in three zones that can be attributed to:

a. Upper\sb. Middle\sc. Lower

A common criterion is to determine size by allocating 3 mm per zone, resulting in a full height measurement of 9mm; sizes greater than this are large, while those less than this are tiny.

The person's extravert and confident conduct is indicated by large handwriting.

Small handwriting shows an introvert's conduct as well as intellectual behavior. If the person's handwriting is small and delicate, he or she may only be at ease with those who are familiar with him or her (or who are similar to him in some manner).

Slant

Slant refers to the angle of inclination of handwriting or a letter from the baseline, as seen in the following examples:

If the words or sentences lean to the right, the tilt could be forward.

If the words or sentences lean to the left, the tilt could be backward.

The slant could also be vertical, and if it falls into more than one of the two categories above, it may be inconsistent.

The location and shape of the i-dots

When a 'I' is written without a dot, it signifies that the writer is absent-minded.

A high placement of the dot on the letter 'I' suggests that the writer is inventive.

If the dot on the letter 'I' is in the shape of a circle, it denotes the writer's artistic nature.

T-bar Position and Shape

Because the stem and cross bar can be written in a variety of ways, the letter't' is particularly informative in terms of graphology.

If the cross bar is tilted upwards, it means the writer is ambitious.

If the cross bar is high and rises away from the stem in a right-hand direction, it denotes intelligence and leadership skills.

As a result, Graphology aids in inquiry by establishing the writer's psychological state. The different characteristics of handwriting (such as spacing, margins, pen pressure, letter size, and so on) are equally significant to numerous aspects of a person's conduct.

Disclaimer :

Graphology is not a pseudo-play game. It's a science. It is advisable to all that it's not a deal of making your beliefs for others to judge the other's personality by their handwriting. It is only advisable to be in expert's hands not for general readers
