If these are the questions that come to your mind too, then let me tell you that you are not alone. We all are going through the same situation. COVID-19 has created an environment of chaos all over the world and people are going through physical stress as well as mental stress.



Everyone has different reasons for being petrified, some people have lost their family members, and people are not able to go around with their friends like before. At the same time, many of us have lost our jobs, and those working online have long working hours, children have to study or play on the internet all day long and doctors with other medical staff who are front-line warriors are the more disturbed ones because they are facing stress because of the number of patients, as well as of the family who is struggling with the same crisis. They are facing this tension from both sides. They are neither getting physical rest nor mental.


And due to all these reasons, people are either getting under stress or to avoid this stress, people are consuming cigarettes and drinking alcohol. If you are also feeling the same, please don't let stress dominate your Healthy lifestyle. Here are some tips to manage your stress and anxiety.


•Take a break from the news section — We have a lot of means to get news like news channels and social media platforms, etc., through which we add all kinds of negative energy and toxicity in our lives. People read the news all day long and feel stressed by the night. Keep yourself away from all these platforms for some time, and still, if you feel like knowing what is happening in the world, So manage your time to watch the news for 10 -15 minutes a day, then turn off every notification related to the news.


•Eat a Balanced diet - It is said a healthy body keeps a healthy mind and to keep the body healthy, the most important thing is healthy food whether your taste buds like it or not. But it is very important to keep your body healthy, so take balanced amounts of calories, fat, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, etc.


•Disciplined routine — Most People are not going anywhere from home at this time, doing everything online from education to work. That's why people's routine has deteriorated completely, people are sleeping at any time and are getting up at any time, sitting in front of any screen and eating at one's convenience. so don't do it at all, keep your life in a Disciplined way. Do everything on time, take some time for exercise, yoga, meditation, or do whatever comes to you. Here I want to give you one suggestion, If you are trying any new form of exercise or yoga, do it under someone's supervision.


•Engage yourself — Being bored is common, as it has been over a year, and people are studying and working from home, so you must keep yourself busy with things that makes you feel good and engaged, such as cooking, Art and Crafts, Singing, Writing, or any other thing. And whenever your attention shifts to any negative thought, immediately engage yourself and your family members too.


• Journaling — Sometimes we don't have any problem, but still we are upset, so why does it happen, in most cases, it has been seen that people are feeling stressed without any reason. It's time to find out which thought is bothering you and causing you stress, make a routine to write down every bad thought that going on throughout the day in your mind, and then notice which one comes mostly to you and bothers you, now do something, avoid these thoughts and find out how you can overcome it.


• Help others – If you have made someone else happy, this is the best feeling of happiness. But is it necessary to go out of the house to help, not at all, you can make phone calls or video calls to ask about the well-being of others and tell yours too? We are looking around that some people are sending food to others at the moment, while some people are donating plasma, so follow the guidelines Covid-19 and help others.


• Whom you can reach out - If you are going through some kind of stress and anxiety, then the best way to avoid it is to talk to others, you can talk to your friends, relatives regarding your situation or you can ask for the professional help from a counsellor, therapist, psychologist or Telephonic helpline.


We are well aware that due to pandemic stress, anxiety is escalating in our lives and this stress will have a direct effect on your health because when stress increases, immunity starts to decrease. Let's avoid the stressful situation. Just presume that everything will resume again in no time.
