The author of the book Finite and Infinite Games, Dr. James P. Carse says that there are two types of death.
a.Death in life
b.Alive in death
In the first kind, a person gives up on, or doesn’t have any, dreams, aspirations and ambition. He whiles away in life, one day at a time, waiting for nothing in particular, but the certain end.
Then there are those whose work and words, no matter how small or big they are, stay with people long after they are gone from this world. Maybe they made a product or provided a service that helped people, maybe they wrote something that people find useful, or maybe they inspired someone to become better.
It is said that you don’t truly die till there is at least one living person who remembers you.
It’s a beautiful thought.
